|
| Shalom Aleichem. I cannot begin
to tell you what you mean to me. I am from Mississippi (USA),
and am Christian. I spent 8 years in the US Air Force - but my
time in the force cannot compare with you service to Isreal. My
heart goes out to all of you. Every day you put your life on the
line for the security of the State of Israel. And every day the
world media prints articles to be-little you. I know that you
are courageous, and that you do everthing you can to maintain
peace. I am sorry that my own government continues to pressure
Israel to negociate with known terrorist - like Egyptian-born,
'palestinian' leader, yassir arafat. Please know that many
people here are praying for you and hope that G-d will soon
bring peace to Israel. From my home, flies two flags: US and
Israeli. When I see the blue and white, I think of you -
even though I've never seen you - and pray G-d's peace on you today.

| I imagine that we are about the
same age, born in the late 1970's. I'm sure, in fact, that we
might have many things in common. I want you all to know how
much Americans like myself care about you, and how proud we are
to have such brave allies. --- Enjoy the pizza! |
| My wife and family have been
watching the suffering in State of Israel from the beauty and
safety of Kentucky, the 'Bluegrass State' - We know your courage
and steadfastness defends all of us. We wish you and you
families safety and health. We wish you and the men you serve
with success in the battles you may face.
|
| To the Soldiers of Israel,
Please enjoy this food as a token of my heart-felt appreciation for your work and sacrifice. While I have no personal ties to Israel, I want you to know you have my full support. I greatly appreciate the difficult work you are doing. I can barely imagine the difficulties you must face defending your country and familes from those who would destroy you (and the rest of civilization if they had the chance), but DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE! Be well and safe. May He who made us protect you. Elbert, Colorado, USA |

Your photos that we see in America show us all how professional and courageous you are in your fight against terrorism! | I am a Jew from New York City
who is in college. In my school there are palestinian groups who
protest and spread lies about Israel. I am a member of
organizations in my school that support Israel and try to spread
the truth that the arabs don't want americans to know. I do all
that I can here for Israel because there are Israeli soldiers
fighting and dying everyday for the land we both love so much. I
will never know who reads this letter, but I want the person
reading this to know how much I love Israel and each one of you.
You are all my brothers and sisters. Please remember that we cry
in America whenever an Israeli is killed or hurt. My body is in
America, but my soul is in Eretz Yisrael. Shalom Alechem.

| This pizza was donated by
Pittsburgh friends of the Bryn family in memory of Rabbi David
Bryn who passed away the 6th of Iyar 5762. Rabbi Bryn's love of
Israel was surpassed only by his love of the people of Israel.
Even though he was ill during the last 2 years of his newly
married life, he talked often of going to Israel with his wife
for a belated honeymoon. Meanwhile, he encouraged his
congregants to make the trip. Sadly, he was not able to fulfil
this goal, but his brothers and sisters living in Israel and
serving in the IDF were never far from his thoughts. He prayed
for your well-being on a daily basis. His tefilot continue on
high on your behalf, as do all of ours. Chazak V'Ematz.

| Dear Chayalim,
We can't adequately express our gratitude and admiration to you for protecting our country and our people. A while ago, I mentioned to someone that it was really frightening that the antisemitism in many parts of the world was the same as seen before the holocoust. They responded that there is one big difference - today we have an army! You are really the army of the Jewish people! Thank you. And remember there are millions of people around the world who love you and thank you as we do. With much love and admiration, Montreal, Canada |

| Dear Soldiers,
My children Jared age 8, Colby age 6, Shantal age 4 with their new sister Zena wanted a way to show appreciation for you being the MACABBES of our generation. They are going door to door selling plants to raise the money to buy the pizzas for you and are going to tell the neighbors to order pizza for other soldiers as well. I have no doubt that you are no different than JUDAH THE MACABEE, each of you share the vision of AM ACHAD. Just don't let the Pizza slow you down on the next 'MASA'! Love with our Prayers for Peace!! |
