| Dear Soldiers,
It is impossible for us outside of Israel to imagine how difficult life is now inside Israel. But, we here on the outside think of you every day and appreciate you. Jews all over the world know that without Israel we would be like nothing. When I think of the soldiers who defend the land I am so grateful to you, and so in awe of you as well. Because of you the citizens of Israel can sleep at night, knowing that you are there to protect them. It saddens me to know that you are so necessary to us all in this capacity and that in order to protect Israel you must at times endanger yourselves. We who live in 'galut' try our best to do whatever we can to help and support the people of Israel. We write thousands and thousands of letters to President Bush and to the Senators and Congressman. We collect money for all sorts of causes, for aid to victims of terror, for the purchase of bullet proof buses and jeeps in Judea and Samaria, special bullet proof vests for soldiers, and much more. We call our relatives and friends in Israel to offer our support. Still, we feel it is not enough. But, at least know that you are all in our hearts and minds. We think of you all every day. So, 'chazak ve'amatz'. And, enjoy the food! your friends from Teaneck, New Jersey |
| I am so proud of all of you! I
am inspired by your courage, your strength and your wisdom -
thank you for helping to get rid of the hatred that causes so
many problems. And please do not hate the enemy back. Try and
find love in your heart. I love you all.
Ayden (age 8) Layla Tov! My Mom speaks Hebrew and she taught me how to say that. |
| You are all in the thoughts and

your land, it always will be your land. Muslims came with swords
and took the land. Jews came with guns and took it back.
|
| Kol Hakavod for all of your hard
work. We know that it is a difficult and sometimes scarey time
for you. A day doesn't go by that you are not in our prayers.
The people of Israel depend upon you for their safety and the
Jews of the world depend upon you to protect Israel. May God
bless all of you and keep you from harm.
If any of you know our friend Michal S, give her our best--we are proud of her. Best wishes and beteavon. Chicago, Illinois |

because you know that Jews, and people with sense, around the
world are thinking of you, and praying for you, wishing you
victory, health and that you return in peace to your families,
and those who love you, and if by your actions the Jewish people
have a secure and safe homeland that will not bow down before
